This usually refers to moves that are less than 100 miles and within the same state. What is an intrastate move? This refers to a move of more than 100 miles within the same state. Will I have to pay for anything besides labor costs for my move? Yes, you may have to pay for required packing supplies and for special care required to pack delicate or oversized items such as televisions or pianos. This is a signed written agreement authorizing your moving company to transport your goods. Why is the cost for traveling higher for moving trucks? The costs of driving time are normally higher because moving trucks can’t travel at the same speed as regular vehicles on highways. They also can’t access any non-truck routes which results in longer mileage. |
